1. Overview & Commitment to Fairness
At SeaTech Yachts, we understand that travel itineraries and personal plans can change. We have designed our cancellation and rescheduling policies to be straightforward, fair, and transparent for both our clients and our operating crew.
2. Standard Cancellation Timelines
- More than 72 Hours Notice: If you cancel your confirmed booking more than 72 hours before your scheduled departure time, your deposit will be rolled over 100% as a charter credit valid for up to 6 months, or rescheduled to any mutually available date without any administration fee.
- Between 24 and 72 Hours Notice: Date changes are permitted subject to vessel availability. Cancellations without rescheduling will forfeit 50% of the booking deposit to compensate for reserved berth and crew allocation.
- Less than 24 Hours Notice or No-Show: Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled departure or failure to arrive at the marina will result in full forfeiture of the booking deposit.
3. 100% Bad Weather Guarantee
Passenger safety is our absolute priority. In the event of adverse weather conditions where:
- The UAE Coast Guard issues an official restriction on small craft or pleasure yacht sailing;
- Heavy sea swells, high wind speeds (>22 knots), or dense marine fog make navigation hazardous;
Your charter will be rescheduled to any available date of your choice with zero penalty or price adjustment. If you are a visiting international tourist leaving Dubai before an alternative date can be scheduled, a full 100% refund of your deposit will be issued.
4. Vessel Substitution & Technical Guarantee
In the improbable event that a scheduled vessel experiences unscheduled technical maintenance prior to departure, SeaTech Yachts will offer an equivalent or upgraded vessel at no additional cost. If an acceptable alternative cannot be provided, a 100% prompt refund will be provided.
