1. Charter Agreement & Scope
By confirming a yacht charter booking with SeaTech Yachts (operating commercially registered vessels DT 2170 and DT 1847), the client ("Charterer") agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all guests in their charter party.
2. Passenger Identification & Manifests
In accordance with UAE Coast Guard and Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) regulations:
- Every individual boarding the vessel must present a valid original Passport (tourists) or an original UAE Emirates ID (residents).
- Digital pictures, mobile scans, or photocopies are not accepted by marina security or Coast Guard officers.
- Guests failing to produce valid original identification will not be permitted to board, and no refund or charter extension will be granted for resulting delays.
3. Maximum Guest Capacities
Vessel passenger limits are strictly determined by UAE commercial maritime classification:
- SeaTech 50' Flybridge (DT 2170): Maximum 15 guests including children and infants.
- SeaTech 56' VIP Teak (DT 1847): Maximum 20 guests including children and infants.
Under no circumstances can the number of guests exceed the official licensed capacity.
4. Boarding, Punctuality & Charter Timing
Charter time starts promptly at the scheduled booking time agreed in your written confirmation. Please advise your guests to arrive at the designated marina gate 15 to 20 minutes prior to departure. If the charter party arrives late, the charter will still terminate at the originally scheduled finish time, as subsequent vessel bookings must be honoured.
5. Safety, Swimming & Captain's Authority
- The licensed Captain maintains absolute authority over navigational routes, cruising speeds, anchoring locations, and onboard safety procedures.
- Swimming: Swimming is permitted solely during daylight hours while the yacht is safely anchored in designated calm zones (e.g. JBR Lagoon), subject to the captain's weather assessment. Swimming after sunset is strictly prohibited by UAE law.
- SOLAS-certified lifejackets are provided onboard for all adult and minor passengers.
6. Footwear & Vessel Care
To preserve the fine Burmese teak wood decks and polished marine gelcoat, outdoor shoes must be removed upon boarding and stored in the dedicated shoe lockers. Clean, non-marking indoor boat slippers or bare feet are customary onboard.
7. Food, Refreshments & Decorum
Guests are welcome to bring their own food, celebration cakes, and beverages with zero corkage fees. Guests must maintain respectful behaviour consistent with UAE maritime and public decorum laws. Disrespectful conduct, illegal substances, or dangerous behaviour will result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.
8. Weather & Force Majeure
If the UAE Coast Guard restricts marine navigation due to high waves, heavy fog, or high wind warnings, SeaTech Yachts will reschedule the charter to any mutually available date without penalty.
